At the bottom of that page, is the link to the National Adult Protection Forum, which includes minutes of the meetings of the forum.

The five priorities agreed by the Forum are:

1.    Financial harm
2.    Adult Protection and Accident and Emergency Units
3.    Data Collection
4.    Adult Protection in Care Homes and Nursing Homes
5.    Service user and carer involvement    (how did I forget that one!)

The next link is to the Committee’s website and the biennial report – it would be helpful if you could raise awareness of the report and its location on the website.

I have attached a copy of the SCR of the young man in Stockport.  The quote I was trying to remember is

‘The presumption of capacity does not exempt authorities and services from undertaking robust assessments where a person’s apparent decision is manifestly contrary to his wellbeing.’  (paragraph 12.23)
